Special event and Mumbai Chapter Spring event 2008

The special event planned from next Sunday has been postponed for now. There were insufficient nominations as well as very little time to ensure that people came to know about it early enough to facilitate the planning of the event. It is likely to be held in March (end) or April (early) 2008. No dates have been decided on as of now, but the minute they are, you will be able to find out over here.

The regular Mumbai Chapter Spring Event for 2008 is going to be called Tarang this time, and will be held from the 29th of Feb to the 4th of March 2008. The brouchre is not yet ready, but when it is ready, you will be able to see it here, as well as receive information through the newsletter, if you are subscribed.

Efforts are still on to get the emails of everyone from the Mumbai Chapter for the newsletter list. We request you to sign up from the link provided in the margin to be sure that all information reaches you on time.

Thanks Vidyut

Setting up this blog was refreshingly prompt! The new year has got off with a freshness, the monthly meeting was very moving. Thanks Pratima and Sunil, for your love and generosity. My wish is that this "new" way of blogging and keeping in touch and communicating will bring everyone into the network.

I have never operated a blog or even visited anyone's before, and I am finding this very exciting and full of possibilities.

Keep up the good work everyone, and will post news about the special event soon.

Love, Wasundhara

Great going, Vidyut.
I am hoping more and more of us use this space to communicate and share.

I am positive that over the next six months we will shift the management of chapter activities to a larger mass of people, and give creative expression to our relationship with ISABS.

Appreciate all the efforts being put in to make this happen.

Warmly,

Vikram.

Thank you Vidyut and Vikram,

I am amazed with your work here. A long time back another ISABIAN and I were idealizing this concept, and I'm glad that we did not have to do anything, coz you did it.

I'm sure that I will be a regualr visitor here, Ive already added it to my favourites,

This would be the best space to ideate, share and commuinicate.....

Would love to see this site increasing our activities here in Mumbai...

Hi Vidut,
I appreciate your efforts in setting up blog.

My best wishes for new year.

I am happy to share with all that I have started a new organization named "Niramaya Jeevan Manch". The central theme is "Harmony: with self, others, society and nature". The learning programs and sharing will be around this theme. The forum will also bring together people who are seeking alternatives in living, and create a space for sharing and explorations.

The organization is a non-profit one.

The first program is organized on 19th and 20th Jan. It is a two days' workshop in Marathi called "Nisargayan". This is focussed on our development model and way of living, and its impact on environment. In this workshop we will explore alternative and eco-friendly living style.
The program is non-residential one, and will be conducted at Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Bandra (E). Dilip Kulkarni (author of Nisargayan, dainandeen paryavaran, etc), Dr. Paurnima Kulkarni and myself will facilitate learning. Dilip and Paurnima have been living in a small village, and are authentically following eco-friendly living. Any one interested in attending, please contact me on 9869785638 for details and registration.

With regards, Prerana

Thanks everyone once again.

It makes me happy to see us being able to respond so easily to each other even outside events and meetings.

Prerana, I am interested in the workshop and will call you. Would you like to make a post about it here? I can email an invite as an author here to you, so that people can read about the workshop even if they haven't read the comments.
